Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Istanbul Turkish Food Festival 2025! By attending our festival, visiting our website, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not attend the festival or use our services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Istanbul Turkish Food Festival Organization ("we," "our," or "us"), the organizers of the Istanbul Turkish Food Festival 2025.
Festival Overview
Event Details
- Event Name: Istanbul Turkish Food Festival 2025
- Dates: December 15-21, 2025 (7 consecutive days)
- Hours: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM Daily
- Location: Yenikapı Event Area, Istanbul, Turkey
- Expected Attendance: 500,000+ visitors
Festival Services
The festival offers:
- Authentic Turkish cuisine from 7 regional cuisines
- Live cooking demonstrations by 86+ master chefs
- Hands-on cooking workshops and classes
- Food tasting experiences from 200+ food stalls
- Cultural performances, traditional music, and folk dances
- Turkish coffee ceremonies and spice bazaar
- Educational sessions on Turkish culinary history
Entry and Admission
Free Entry Pass
- Entry to the festival is FREE for all visitors
- You must register online to receive your free entry pass
- Entry passes are non-transferable
- Present your pass (digital or printed) at festival entrance
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone violating these Terms
Workshop and Cooking Class Registration
- Cooking workshops require advance registration (fees may apply)
- Workshop capacity is limited and filled on first-come, first-served basis
- Workshop fees are separate from general festival entry
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for refunds
Age Requirements
- The festival is open to all ages
- Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult
- Some cooking workshops may have age restrictions
- Parents/guardians are responsible for children's safety and behavior
Visitor Conduct
Expected Behavior
All festival visitors are expected to:
- Treat staff, vendors, chefs, and other visitors with respect
- Follow reasonable instructions from festival staff and security
- Maintain appropriate behavior for a family-friendly environment
- Respect festival property, equipment, and food stalls
- Dispose of waste properly in designated bins
- Queue in orderly fashion at food stalls and workshops
- Respect social distancing and hygiene guidelines if applicable
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior
- Harassment of staff, vendors, chefs, or other visitors
- Bringing outside food or beverages for sale or distribution
- Smoking in non-designated areas
- Alcohol consumption (unless in designated areas with proper licensing)
- Bringing pets (except certified service animals)
- Professional photography or videography without permission
- Commercial activities or solicitation without authorization
- Damaging or defacing festival property
- Theft or unauthorized removal of items
Food Safety and Allergies
Allergen Information
- We encourage vendors to provide allergen information
- Visitors with allergies must inquire about ingredients before consuming
- We cannot guarantee allergen-free environments
- Cross-contamination may occur despite best efforts
- Visitors consume food at their own risk
Food Safety Standards
- All vendors must comply with Turkish food safety regulations
- Food is prepared in accordance with hygiene standards
- Health inspections are conducted regularly
- Report any food safety concerns to festival staff immediately
Dietary Restrictions
- Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available
- Inform workshop instructors of dietary restrictions in advance
- We strive to accommodate special dietary needs when possible
- Some traditional recipes may not be modifiable for restrictions
Payment and Purchases

Festival vendors and workshops accept:
- Cash (Turkish Lira)
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Mobile payment apps and contactless payments
- Festival vouchers (where applicable)
Pricing
- All prices are displayed in Turkish Lira
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- All prices include applicable taxes
- Workshop fees are non-refundable unless cancelled 24+ hours in advance
Photography and Media
Personal Photography
- Personal photography for non-commercial use is permitted
- Be respectful when photographing people - ask permission
- Do not interfere with festival activities or obstruct others
Festival Photography
- Festival organizers may photograph and film the event
- By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed
- Photos/videos may be used for marketing and promotional purposes
- If you object to being photographed, please inform staff
Media and Press
- Media credentials required for professional photography/videography
- Contact us in advance for media accreditation
- Drone photography requires special permission
Liability and Disclaimers
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Turkish law:
- We are not liable for personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or damaged
- We are not responsible for allergic reactions or foodborne illnesses
- We are not liable for injuries or accidents on festival premises
- Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for services (if any)
- We are not responsible for actions of third-party vendors
Assumption of Risk
By attending the festival, you acknowledge and accept:
- Participation in food tastings and cooking activities involves inherent risks
- You attend and participate voluntarily and at your own risk
- You are responsible for your own health and safety
- You should not participate if you have health concerns that may be exacerbated
Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform due to:
- Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, storms)
- Government restrictions or emergency orders
- Pandemics or health emergencies
- Acts of terrorism or civil unrest
- Other events beyond our reasonable control
Intellectual Property
All content related to Istanbul Turkish Food Festival 2025, including but not limited to:
- Festival name, logo, and branding
- Website design and content
- Promotional materials and photographs
- Recipe cards and cooking demonstrations
- Educational materials and workshop content
is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.
Privacy and Data Protection
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
Cancellation and Modifications
Festival Cancellation
- We reserve the right to cancel or postpone the festival for safety or operational reasons
- In case of cancellation, registered visitors will be notified via email
- We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule cancelled events
- Refunds for workshop fees will be provided if events are cancelled by us
Schedule Changes
- Workshop times, chef appearances, and activities may change
- We will update the schedule on our website
- Check the official schedule upon arrival for latest updates
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon:
- Posting on our website
- Display at festival entrance
- Email notification to registered users
Your continued attendance or use of services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Termination and Removal
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any visitor from the festival for:
- Violation of these Terms and Conditions
- Disruptive or inappropriate behavior
- Threats to safety or security
- Intoxication or substance abuse
- Any other reason deemed necessary for safety and order
Removed visitors will not receive refunds for any paid workshops or services.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Turkish courts in Istanbul.
Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes:
- We encourage informal resolution through direct communication
- Contact our customer service team first
- Formal complaints should be submitted in writing
- We will respond to complaints within 7 business days
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
